During the past six weeks, bumblefoot lesions remained an issue for Peregrine Falcon #15-2167. Veterinary staff surgically debrided the falcon's feet on May 17 and carefully monitored his healing progress. Several bandage types (including ball bandages, ID bandages, and a modified "snowshoe" bandage) were applied to the falcon's feet in rotation, and the falcon was kept inside during wet or rainy weather to protect his sensitive feet from further irritation.
