Bald Eaglet #16-0921 has gradually been making small improvements since her admission, though the bird still is quiet and becomes easily stressed during daily treatments. Dr. Helen noted that the bird intermittently folds one of her left toes under her foot when she perches; sometimes the bird perches normally, and other times the bird seems unable to extend the digit. Foot radiographs and a physical exam were within normal limits, so the veterinary team isn’t sure what’s causing this issue.
