The veterinary staff at the Center continued to monitor Northern Harrier #15-2160’s broken toe and bumblefoot through the winter. Re-check radiographs were taken on January 19, and the fracture on the left foot was much better aligned with no visible signs of bone infection.
Following several more sets of radiographs during the past two months, the veterinary staff was confident that the fractured toe had healed well enough that it would not cause issues for the bird later.
