First- and second-grade students in the Program for Accelerated Academic and Creative Education (PAACE) class at Sunrise Elementary School in Bullhead City, Arizona carefully crafted a variety of owl and snake ornaments as a fundraiser for the Wildlife Center of Virginia. The PAACE class adopted Greenbean, the Center’s Northern Rough Greensnake, this year and the students wanted to raise funds for Greenbean’s food and care.
